Tigran Buniatyan, Organist

Tigran Buniatyan is a student of James David Christie at Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. Born in 1991 in Yerevan, Armenia, Tigran earned a master’s degree from Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. From 2014 to 2016 he was vice-principal of the Central Music School in Yerevan. He has participated in international music festivals and conferences, notably in Russia: in 2012 he won second price in the 3rd International Piano Competition in Yekaterinburg, Russia; and in 2014 he won a special prize for creative individuality in the 2nd International Braudo Organ Competition, in Russia. At Oberlin, Tigran is in a five-year program leading toward a double degree in Organ and in Historical Performance.

Tigran’s next performance is May 16th, 2018 at 12:15 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, W. 30th & Lorain, Cleveland.
