Josh Moldenhauer was born and raised in Michigan – which makes him by default a Michigan Wolverine fan. He’s a 2004 graduate of Concordia University in River Forest (Chicago). His vicarage (a one year pastor-training internship) was in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2008 and was called by God to become our pastor – installed on August 10th.
Since coming to Oberlin God has formed him into a better preacher, caring pastor, and patient servant. God’s work in him and through him continues.
God has blessed him with a truly wonderful wife named Jen and 3 young boys named Elijah, Matthew, and Caleb. Besides the kids (which fill up much of his time, energy, and enjoyment) he also likes to jog, read, landscape, and dabble in woodworking.
